About Me
When I was 9 years old, my parents bought me a colorful little book called 'HTML for beginners'. I used it to create my very first webpage, a 3-column table containing images of my favorite flowers, and a few input boxes leading to nowhere.
Throughout my life, I've kindled a strong passion for design and problem-solving - which I've married into a single focus on web development. I'm a recent graduate of LEARN Academy (a coding bootcamp here in San Diego), pursuing a career as a full-stack developer after spending 4 years in the animal care field.
I have experience creating and managing databases with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL, and connecting them to front-end frameworks like React using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm also extremely proficient in test-driven development, and have previously used frameworks like JEST and RSPEC.
